Order and Delivery Policy

At Storsley Bison Rancb, we’re committed to making the process of receiving your bison easy and reliable. Whether you prefer pickup at a local farmers' market or home porch delivery, the details below explain what to expect.

1. Farmers' Market Pickup

​

• Pickup Location: All orders can be picked up at the farmers market location you select at checkout.

• Timing: Orders placed before the weekly deadline will be available for pickup at your chosen market that same week.

• Pickup Window: Please collect your order within 24 hours of the scheduled time. If you’re unable to make it, contact us as soon as possible. After 24 hours, unclaimed orders may be forfeited without a refund, though we’ll attempt to reach you first.

• Customer Responsibility: For bulk orders (quarter, half, whole bison), be sure to bring a suitable vehicle with cold storage (like a cooler or freezer space). You are responsible for maintaining proper storage of the bison once it’s in your possession.

 

 

2. Delivery Option

​

• Service Area: We offer delivery within Winnipeg city limits for a flat rate of $9.99. A $100 minimum order is required. For delivery outside Winnipeg, please contact us—additional fees may apply.

• Scheduling: We will coordinate delivery with you after your order is confirmed.

  • Standard orders: Usually delivered within 1 week of ordering.

  • Bulk/custom orders: Typically delivered within 30 days of processing.

• Delivery Details:

  • Provide a valid delivery address and ensure someone is available to receive the order at the agreed time.

  • As our bison is perishable, it cannot be left unattended. If no one is home, we’ll try to contact you to reschedule. However, additional charges may apply for repeat delivery attempts.

• Product Condition: Your bison will be packed and handled to preserve quality during transport. Once delivered, you are responsible for proper storage.

 

 

3. General Order and Delivery Terms

• Risk of Loss: Once your order is picked up or delivered, responsibility for the product transfers to you.

• Delivery Delays: We are not liable for delays due to weather, traffic, or other uncontrollable factors. If delays occur, we’ll keep you informed.

• No Returns: Due to the nature of our products, returns are not accepted once the order has been delivered or picked up. Please refer to our Refund Policy for guidance if there’s an issue.

 

 

4. Delivery Costs

• Pickup: No additional fee for picking up your order at a farmers' market.

• Delivery: A flat fee of $9.99 is applied to orders within Winnipeg. This fee covers transport and handling and is non-refundable once delivery is confirmed.
