Refund Policy
Effective May 1, 2025
At Storsley Bison Ranch, we’re proud to deliver high-quality, farm-raised bison directly to our customers. Due to the perishable nature of our products and strict food safety protocols, we are unable to accept returns or issue full refunds once an order has been picked up or delivered. However, we’re committed to your satisfaction and aim to resolve any concerns in a fair and timely manner. Please review the policy below for more information.
1. No Returns or Full Refunds

Because our bison products are perishable, we cannot accept returns once your order has left our farm—whether by delivery or pickup.

Full refunds are not possible after the product has been handed off, as we cannot safely resell or redistribute returned items.
2. Order Issues
We stand behind our product quality and accuracy. If something isn’t right with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your bison. Common issues may include:

Wrong Item: You received a different product, cut, or quantity than what was ordered.

Quality Concerns: Packaging was damaged, or the product did not meet the quality you were promised.
To report a problem, please email Jordan at storsleybisonranch@gmail.ca with the name associated with the order and a clear description of the issue. We may ask for photos to help us assess and resolve the situation quickly.
3. How We Resolve Issues
If we confirm that a mistake occurred on our end (e.g., incorrect cuts or product quantity), we’ll work with you to find a fair solution. Possible resolutions include:

A partial refund based on the value of the affected portion.

A discount toward a future order.

Replacement items included with your next order (based on availability).
Each case is reviewed individually, and we aim to resolve concerns in a way that is fair to both you and our business.
4. Customer Responsibilities

Check Your Order: Please carefully review your order before confirming it. We cannot be held responsible for errors related to incorrect information submitted by the customer (e.g., wrong address or product choices).

Proper Handling: After delivery or pickup, it’s your responsibility to store the bison correctly. We cannot provide refunds or replacements for issues caused by improper storage or handling once the product is in your care.
5. Cancellations

Bulk Orders (quarter, half, whole bison) may be fully canceled with a refund if the request is made at least 4 days before your scheduled processing date. Cancellation requests made less than four days before processing will not be eligible for a refund, as we may have already started preparing your order.

Regular Orders (farmers' market pickup or porch delivery) may be cancelled with a refund within 24 hours of an order being placed.
6. Deposits (If Applicable)
If your order includes a deposit, as in a bulk order, it becomes non-refundable once processing of your bison has begun. We’ll notify you when processing starts so you’re aware of the timeline.
